I am very fond of lipsticks and I love playing with colors. So, today I will be sharing my favorite 10 lipstick shades from lakme. I hope these shades will guide to pick the perfect one for you. These shades are from different Lakme products. It is not entirely from one single range.
1. Runway red by Lakme absolute creme
By now many of you must have noticed my love for red. I have reviewed many red lipsticks in my previous blogs. Now coming to runway red, it is well pigmented and moisturizing to the lips. With 2 to 3 swipes on lips it lasts for 4 or more hours. It has vitamin E in it. The packaging looks luxurious which attracted me. It is available for 3.7gms.
2. Red envy – Lakme absolute
Another red, Oh! you must be tired of my shades now. But I must tell you it is a wonderful matte shade and will look good on every skin type. The texture is very good and shows up the color with 2 swipes. It has also got good staying power on lips.
3. Pink post from Lakme 9 to 5
It is beautiful pink color. Very much pigmented but may take 2 to 3 swipes for the exact color to show. It stays on lips for long time. The lip shade is from the primer + matte range. The primer allows the lipstick to last longer. I love matte lip shades. This color can be worn with any outfit.
4. Scarlet drill – Lakme 9 to 5
A good color that stays long and is transfer proof. Can be worn by all but best suits medium to dusky skin tone. The price for all the shades from lakme 9 to 5 range is same.
5. Shade 352 – Lakme enrich satin
It is a cherry red color that suits fair and wheatish colored ladies. It has a satin finish and retails for just Rs.208. It is a perfect shade for the wedding season.
6. Pink colar – Lakme 9 to 5
A good shade to wear for office parties. Neither very subtle nor very bold color. Staying capacity is superb. Stays on for 4 to 5 hours without any touch ups.
7. Royal Rouge – Lakme absolute
The name depicts the shade. It is literally a royal color from both the shade and packaging as well. Royal rouge is the combination of peach and brown color. It has a creamy texture yet a royal matte finish.
8. Plum forever – Lakme absolute creme
It is a darker color so will suit all skin tone. The creamy formula and Vitamin E keeps the lips moisturized and helps the lipstick glide on lips smoothly. The pigment stays for longer period of time.
9. Crimson silk – Argan oil lip colour by Lakme absolute
The perfect pink shade for occasions like wedding and festivals. The argan oil helps in moisturizing the lips. It also helps in giving that creamy texture which adds to the silky finish. The color payoff is rich and intense. The only cons is it is a bit pricey. It is priced at Rs. 750 for just 3.4gms.
10. Fuchsia field – Lakme 9 to 5 crease less creme lipstick
As the name says crease-less, it hides all the crease of lips in one stroke of the color. The color is pink and enriched with vitamin E that makes it appropriate to wear for work. The price is also quite reasonable and is easily available.
